For one night only on the 28th July Ramsgate beach hosted the annual Littoral light festival. Myself along with around 30 other artist filled the main beach and surrounding area with artwork to engage with and light up the area.
I wanted to move the charcoal residue from paper into the environment, capturing it inside the resin and eliminating it inside the cliff side. Unlike my drawings the charcoal is fixed and untouchable by my myself or the viewer, I have created a physical void.
Above are pictures of my own work and below some of the other pieces and the beach. The evening was a great success with many visitors.
